It’s a big day for some coders as they are creating the next big thing at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2012 Hackathon. Hundreds of geeks on their macbooks and notebooks coding for APIs from the sponsors. Microsoft, Google, Amazon are all at this event, along with some unknowns: dotCloud, Pearson , Twilio, OpenTok, GREE and many more.
What is a Hackathon?
Coders come in to join forces (or go it alone). They have until 10:30 on Sunday to get their new app done. Groups present their projects the next day in front of the judges and possible VCs and Angel Investors.
More photos will come up on this page as the day progresses.
