Black & Decker Vertical iShred Shreds Paper Safely
Elyse Kaye from Black & Decker joined Andy on the TPN Live CES coverage. She brought along a new way to paper shred. This is the iShred BD-VS600.
The iShred has no exposed blades. Therefore, kids will not get fingers in the shredder. The vertical fluted design will make it harder to knock over. The fluted base also makes it easier to empty the shavings.
The iShred does a smaller cross-cut. It can cut up items as thick as a credit card (6 sheets). It also has a jam-free function. If it’s too thick, the shredder will detect and not shred.
The iShred retails for about $99.99. Black & Decker won a CES award for design.
