Using Wirecast Part 2 – Create a Scene
This is part 2 of a 5 part series on how to make more compelling video. Wirecast is a video switching program that lets you switch between web cam, video cameras (connected to the computer), IP cameras, computer desktops and more. You can add graphics and multi-shot views. You can also record in H.264 and stream to popular services like ustream.
Part 2: Create a Scene
Jeffrey Powers pulls out the Windows machine, fires up the Windows version of Wirecast, then shows you how to add a camera, video or picture. He goes through the settings and what to adjust.
We walk through foreground, background and how to resize the picture. We add lower 3rds and how to turn a 4:3 video into a 16:9 video. Finally, Jeffrey shows how to make an animated lower 3rd for your videos.
