First Look: Sound Forge Pro 3 for Mac

Podcast: EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSSAny podcaster or musician out there knows – the better the audio, the better chance people will give you. Adding in something that you might not expect can bring some great results. Next thing you know, people are asking you how you made it sound so good. That is where a program like Sound Forge Pro 3 for Mac comes in. With a version for Mac and one for PC, you can bring in tracks, or even whole songs, and get all the bumps and bruises out. You can re-organize thoughts, and even extract samples for other projects. Even if you have a multi-track editor or movie creator, a program like Sound Forge Pro allows you to take time away from the whole project and focus on one bit. Most video and audio editors will have a function in the settings...

How to Create a Powerful Video Title with NewBlueFX Titler Pro 5

Podcast: EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSSSince I use Wirecast and Vegas 14, I needed a good program to create titles and lower 3rds for my videos. Two years ago I was introduced to NewBlueFX and Titler Pro software. This has completely changed how I have created content online. I’ve been using their newest version – Titler Pro 5 – for a while now. The first couple revisions had some bugs to them, but once they got straightened out, I was able to use without issue. I loaded up on my main desktop, along with my travel laptop to create videos for CES, NAIAS, and NAMM. What is Titler Pro 5? This is stand alone software that can create and edit titles, lower 3rds, and other graphics for your videos. You can make a title from scratch, or simply use one of the templates to build upon....

TechCrunch Drama – Could TechCrunch, Crunch Properties (like TechCrunch Disrupt) be Done?

I am not pretending to know everything about this issue. All I know is that Michael Arrington was working with AOL on creating the “Crunch Fund”. Some other caught wind and questioned if Arrington’s editorial status at TechCrunch could be an issue. Now, we have a fight between Michael Arrington and Ariana Huffington – who wants Michael to step down. Arrington has posted an article asking to sell TechCrunch back to shareholders. This would take TechCrunch out of AOL’s hands and things might go back to some sort of normalcy. However, people would still question if Arrington should be EIC. It’s a very dramatic time for the company. What’s worse: we could see one of these situations result from this weekend: Situation 1: Arrington Fired If that happens, you might see TechCrunch staff walk. Unless they have some contractual clause that causes them not to be able to...
