The Hang-Up Light Illuminates Your Closet

Closets are dark scary places, which is probably why some of us prefer them closed while we sleep because it’s a well known fact that ghosts and monsters use them as portals to enter our world. But even aside from the creepy aspect of a dark closet, you really should add some light. You can install some lighting of course, but that requires either rewiring your home or installing one of those battery operated lights that really stink. Or you can go another way. Use some hangers that provide the light. I think that’s a much better idea. The Hang-Up Light is designed to offer you the ability to see everything without a traditional light. It is just like a regular hanger, except this one has LEDs that will shine brightly into your closet, letting you view your wardrobe collection. This way you won’t have to turn on...

TNP USB-C Hub Adds 4K HDMI, Ethernet, USB-A, and USB-C for Charging

Podcast: EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSSThe TNP USB-C Hub is a dongle you can add to your Mac or PC. It adds 4K HDMI, Ethernet, USB-A, and USB-C for Charging or using another USB-C device. I’ve been using with my HP Elite X2 laptop for when I need a Ethernet connection, 2nd monitor, or extra USB device. Ethernet is a 1 Gigabit and transfers data very well within my network. Sometimes I need the wired connection for video and screen-sharing. Ethernet connections have a lower latency, and less chance of getting bumped off the network if too many wireless devices are connected. In connecting to my Vizio M50 4K TV, I had no problem getting the 2160p signal the monitor can produce. I can then use my x2 to present, or watch a video online or one I created. The Elite X2 also has one USB-C...

360fly Review Right From the 360 Video Camera

Podcast: EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSSI’ve been having an awesome time with figuring out 360 video. That is why I decided to create this review in 360 video view. Now if you are watching this from my podcast channels, you might be seeing this crunched down. To view it in the intended version, you either will have to download 360 viewing software or go to Youtube.com/geekazine and watch it there. The hardware I am using is 360fly. This is a 360 half-spherical camera. What does that mean? Well even though you get a 360 degree view in the middle, either the top or the bottom does not get recorded because there is no optics on one side. The top or bottom recording is all dependant on how you set up the camera. I have the 360 fly set up to point down. This makes it a...
