Keep Knight is a Security System in Your Cupholder
Last Updated on February 9, 2022 11:47 am by Jeffrey Powers
After getting his car broken into, Keep’s founder David Moeller decided to create a device that will help catch the people that break in. Knight is that item, and it fits right into the car’s cupholder – without losing the cupholder.
What is Knight
This is a security device complete with camera, audio, and sensors. A dedicated key FAB is available to arm/disarm the device.
How Knight Works
Knight gets placed in your cup holder, with a twist to lock. When motion is detected, or the sensors feel the car is being broken into, the device will start recording – similar to a Ring doorbell. The camera gives a perfect view of the perpetrator as they enter the car to hijack, or steal what’s inside.
Since it looks like a cup holder, the perpetrator will most likely ignore it. If they do know what is going on, the video/audio is instantly uploaded to the cloud via LTE, and their security specialists on staff. The dispatcher then makes the appropriate action to get police on scene.
You will also be alerted when the event occurs though one of the six monitoring centers at Keep. You can also check in on your car, just like you would your doorbell.
Connect at Home
Keep Knight also connects with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple, Nest, and more so you can activate and monitor your system. Easily arm, unarm, and check inside the car for any issues.
Availability
The Knight is in Pre-order for $199. Head over to the preorder page to reserve your Knight.
