PTZOptics/HuddlecamHD Lineup for 2022
PTZOptics/Huddlecam was at the NAB show to show how you can build up your studio for 2022. Many PTZ cameras, and a couple finds for your video production. Matthew Davis shows us around the booth.
Simple Track Lite
On the Huddlecam side of things, we saw the autotracking Simple Track Lite. This is a camera that will track subjects during conferences or lectures.
The Simple Track Lite connects via USB, HDMI, SDI, and NDI|HX for whatever your room supports. The RS232 and Ethernet allows to be connected to hardware or software if you use a camera operator.
AI zones can be set so the camera doesn’t go off into the distance when a presenter walks off.
The PTZ 20x zoom can track subjects up to 55 feet away. It can rotate up to 270 degrees, and a single camera shot can cover 59.5 degrees of a room.
1080p 60fps video resolution, with the ability to send to multiple formats. This way you can dedicate HDMI to a TV matrix, SDI to record, and NDI to stream.
Get the Simple Track Lite for $1,695
PTZOptics 20x SDI Camera
Just like with the Huddlecam, this camera runs a lot of the same software, and can be connected to HDMI or SDI, and if you want NDI – it’s a simple upgrade. 1080p 60fps video and 20x optical zoom. A 30X zoom is also available.
Tally Lights
A new product in the PTZOptics catalog after the acquisition, Tally-Lights are compatible with any device with a General Purpose Input Output (GPIO) port.
Each tally light can be extended to camera, or another location so talent can be informed. Red LED lights emit when the camera is active.
This is also perfect for cameras that don’t have built-in tally. Even devices like NDI Spark, or a web cam could be set up with a box.
WirelessCable
Wireless transmission and connectivity from up to 400 meters away (line of sight). Using 802.11a/n protocol, this system allows you to chain up to 4 units together to create a wide network of coverage up to a mile.
Get NDI, RTSP, SRT, and other signals across the room.
WirelessCable Is $595 per box, you will need the transmitter and receiver to start with
SuperJoy Joystick Control
If you are looking for a powerful joystick for a PTZ camera system, the SuperJoy gives you a smooth control with a streamlined production. Complete with an HDMI connection so you can connect a confidence monitor to keep an eye on your cameras.
8 camera connection via IP VISCA and NDI options. Full button support including customizable option buttons for any need. Micro adjustment zoom and focus knobs for getting the fine tuning down on a shot.
SuperJoy is $989 and available now
