Yololiv Max Pro for Instagram Live Streams
Last Updated on May 3, 2022 12:42 pm by Jeffrey Powers
Yololiv has been busy working off their original Yolobox idea, and for NAB have 2 new boxes ready for purchase, and a new concept idea that can change the way you do Instagram Live in the Yolobox Max Pro.
Yololiv Yolobox Pro
The Yolobox Pro expands on the original device with a 3rd camera input, and a more powerful processor. Now you can use 2 HDMI source inputs and a USB capture device for 3 camera video. The USB device can be a web camera, or a multitude of web-capable cameras. Carlos had the MEVO Start connected in the booth, for example.
Specs
This device is an all-in-one box to capture and stream out your event. The box also can bring in lower 3rds or other graphics either through the on-board choices, or using a web cloud solution.
Ethernet, Wifi, or 4G LTE SIM access, you can be in many different locations to capture and broadcast an event. Encode in H.264 1080p video, and record on up to a 128 GB SD Card. Stream to Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, or use the RTMP to stream to another service or server.
The Pro – just like with the regular Yolobox and new Yolobox mini – has a built-in battery to give you 1-2 hours of record/broadcast (depending on how you use it). The system charges on a USB-C 5A cable, so attaching a portable battery for longer streams is possible.

Yolobox Mini
Just like the Pro, but with less inputs. The idea of the mini is for a simple 1 HDMI camera, 1 USB input stream or record. This is perfect for a simple 2 camera shoot, a web presentation, or talking head YouTube or Livestream.
The mini also encodes to H.264, with resolutions up to 1080p /60fps.
4700 mAh battery inside, and the ability to connect a Type-C Quick Charge 3.0 cable for additional power.

Yolobox Max Pro
Anyone trying to do Instagram Live streams comes up against this problem – they cannot use multiple cameras or video switching to make great live streams. If they try to circumvent, they could have their channel banned.
Yololiv is working on a way to fix this issue, so fashion models can show off new looks, and creators can make videos from their studios. This is done in the Max Pro – a mirror-style screen that can switch between cameras, and even add graphics to your shot.
You will log into your Instagram account on the device, then go live from the app. The Max Pro camera input will take care of shots and overlays.
And you will be able to go live to other social networks and record your videos for post processing and later posting.
Think of this device as a very big Android phone.
The Max Pro is in development stage right now and will be available in December. Yololiv is planning on two versions of this – a larger screen with an easel, and a smaller model that will fit on the desktop.
