How To Mute Annoying Friends On Facebook

Even though we enjoy talking with our friends on Facebook, we all have those friends who are annoying. Maybe they constantly post things you hate. Maybe they never shut up. Maybe you scrolled past 200 baby pictures already this morning. Maybe a brand is doing way too much advertising. It would be nice to be able to mute these people, rather than unfollowing them which would be awkward and make them feel bad. Well, there is a way.
Facebook is testing a new feature called “Snooze.” It allows you to temporarily mute your friends for a pre-determined amount of time. A day, a week, or a month. This gives you a little more flexibility when it comes to hiding posts you don’t want to see. It’s easy and like we said, no one’s feelings get hurt, because they won’t know that you’ve muted them. This is a great solution to the problem and it is about time too.
Don’t like this person’s post? Hit the snooze button and shut them up for awhile. Ahhh, beautiful silence. That made your feed much better. It looks like the button has not appeared for everyone yet, but it seems to be making its way to all.
