Booking flights online

Gone are the days when people have to go to travel agencies in order to buy their tickets for flights. These days, most airline companies already have their own website where you can purchase flight tickets through your credit cards. The online ordering is hassle free and you don’t have to leave your office just to do it. You can even use sites like Orbitz , Kayak, or Priceline to find a better deal on air and hotel.
Sell your stuff online
Some people earn extra cash by selling used stuff on sites like EBay, or Craigslist. You can also find and contact buyers through social networks like Facebook. If you have that rare item the average person does not want, you can list it on many different newsgroups, or scour the social networks to see if that one collecter is around to buy it. With a little elbow grease, you can get top dollar for that antique.
Connect with friends and family members abroad
One of the most essential uses of the internet these days is connecting people – wherever they are. Using applications such as Skype and Google Hangouts, you can easily make videos or phone call your loved ones in another part of the world, mostly for free. Compared to international charges, this is definitely a great way to save money.
Research information about anything.
Whether you need information to treat a cold, how to fix a car, when is the best time to plant strawberries or whatever, you can find helpful information through internet research. You don’t have to rampage the library to find relevant books. You only have to activate your laptop’s internet connection to do a Google or Bing search. The best thing about the internet is that even not so recent information has been made available online.

Online banking on laptop, or mobile device
Years ago, I switched to a bank with higher rates simply because they were open during the weekends on my schedule. I paid for that convenience for years. Now, I switched back to my credit union and enjoy lower rates. Why? Online banking!
Nowadays, most bank companies have their own websites ready for you to do online transactions. Checking your balance or transferring and receiving money from one account to another. It eliminates the hassle of having to go to banks.
Schedule and pay bills online
Now, paying bills doesn’t have to be a hassle anymore. No longer will you have to allocate one or two days just for paying your monthly bills. That is because you can make your payment to your bills right online either through online banking or through pay your bills online sites.
Better yet, why not schedule your bills to either alert you, or automatically pay themselves at certain times of the month. Your phone bill, electric, cable bill and more can be scheduled. Even credit card payments can be set up to drop on a certain time of the month.
Search for a company’s contact information
Do you need information on a company? The information online has not only a record of contact details of companies, but also individuals who talk about these companies. Sites like Yelp, who get information from the customer, can tell you if this is a place you want to do business in.
Earn extra money online; Quit your job

We talked about how you could blog or sell your stuff online, but there are other great ways to make money. Become an affiliate for a company, then blog about their products. Talk to other websites to see if you can guest post for a few dollars. Put a viral video up on YouTube, and set it up for monetization. Be creative without scamming people, and you might just find a great way to quit your job!
