This Personal Helicopter Looks Like a Drone

Loveland, Ohio company, Workhorse, has created a personal helicopter that is basically an oversized drone. It runs on electricity and gas and goes by the name “SureFly”. This drone is a two seater that has eight counter-rotating motors on four arms. It will fly at a range of 70 miles, and even has a backup battery that gives you five extra minutes of flight for safe landing. Yep, just little a drone. You would think that in a drone this size, you would get more than 5 extra minutes of flight time from a backup battery. You better bequick about whatever you need to do in that time.
The SureFly is set to go into production in 2019, but if you have the disposable income, you can pre-order it right now from Workhorse’s website. It will cost you around $200,000. It is designed for safe and easy flight. Those eight motors each drive a single carbon fiber propeller, and just in case your expensive giant drone is in trouble, it comes with a ballistic parachute to safely land it in an emergency.
It seems like it would be cramped in that cockpit, but the interior actually looks roomy. You probably have more legroom than a seat on your standard airline.
