AirScouter Wearable Display from Brother for Monitoring Video

As a videographer, sometimes you can’t poise a camera to view through the eyepiece or even the display. If you are moving with your camera, sometimes you have to trust it’s capturing the way you want it. External monitors help, but you can’t always keep your eyes on it while moving.
Brother has a solution to this in the AirScouter. This is a head-worn device that displays a 720p image in one eye. As you move throughout the shot, you can simply glance up to the screen to see if you are in the frame you envisioned.
This is a wired pack, connected through SDI (HDMI version may also become available). Brother does make a wireless AirScouter for drone use.
If you need to shield the sun, simply wear a hat. If you need even more light removal, you can get the eyepiece accessory to cover the whole eye.
The WD-330C for SDI cameras will be available soon. The AirScouter WD-200B for Drone use is available now.
