On Thursday, I tweeked my back. Ever since, I have been recouping from the event. While my back is still not 100%, it is a lot better than yesterday. So Yahoo! is looking for another CEO. It’s another disappointment for the online search giant, as they hold on to their former glory. Scott Thompson stepped down because of questions about his resume. But it does ask the question – who doesn’t fudge their resumes a bit to get a job?
I know I’ve padded my resume a bit to show my experience. But a CEO position is a bit different than an IT job, I suppose. Still, if he was doing the job, who really cares? So that brings the question: Did Scott Thompson do the job? It looked like he was on the right direction.
He had to make some hard choices, and did them. Yet, I am not behind the scenes, so I don’t know what happened. As Thompson stepped down, he brought a bombshell with him: He has cancer. Thyroid cancer, to be exact. But how do we know if he’s telling the truth now? After all, he did fudge his resume…
