HP Stream 11, Stream 360 Cloud Laptop for Under $200

Cloud based laptops seem to be a great hybrid between tablet and computer. HP has come out with a great sub-$200 laptop in the HP Stream 11 – an 11 or 13 inch laptop running Windows software and internal hard drive of only 32 GB. However, with the free 1 TB OneDrive and Office365 (for 1 year), you can run what you need and get things done.

I got to talk with Bianamarie Carniel about the Stream 11 line of cloud-based computers. The first one was the Stream 11 x360. This laptop can become a clamshell, flip to become a tablet, then open to be its own stand or tent for watching video on a table or in bed. The Stream x360 comes in blue or magenta and you can even get a 13 inch model with 4G capability.

HP Stream 11

The HP Stream 11 Laptop is available in 11 or 13 inch models. You can get a touchscreen with the machine and also blue or magenta. The WWan (4G) capability is also available on this device so you can stay connected to your 1 TB drive.

Each Stream 11 comes with the Intel Celeron processors and is fan-free. They weigh around 3.4 lbs (11 inch model) and have an 8 hour battery life. SD card reader, 3 USB, HDMI and audio jacks are on the sides.
