Shure, one of the most popular microphone companies out there, has released a limited edition of their MV7 podcast and livestream microphone. The MV7 White Noir is designed with a black logo on a white body. But it has all the great features that make the MV7 a microphone you will want for your show.
Shure MV7 Hybrid Microphone
This is called a hybrid microphone because you can plug it in via XLR to a mixer, or USB into a computer. You can even use both at the same time!
When in XLR mode, it works just like any other microphone. The mixer will control all levels.
When in USB mode, you have control of not only the microphone volume, but also the headphone connection on the back of the unit. This allows you to raise and lower gain, or mute the microphone outright.
This microphone has the legendary Shure capsule inside, giving you the same 50Hz-16kHz range as a SM57 does. It makes this microphone perfect for almost any voice – high or low range.
The Shure MOTIV app
The Shure MV7 is Apple certified, so you can plug into an iOS device and record via the Shure MOTIV app. And the microphone is also active for your Instagram, TikToks, or YouTube videos right from the phone.
