Atlas Wearables Fitness Tracker Watch – SXSW 2014
Last Updated on March 9, 2024 5:27 pm by Jeffrey Powers
While I was heading to another interview, I ran into Peter from Atlas Wearables – a device that will track and identify your activities at the gym. More than steps and more than sleep. The Atlas wearables system will identify if you are doing a pushup, a pullup, a butterfly or other item, and keep reps going for you. It will even help you keep track of strokes in the pool.
By keeping track of your reps, they can calculate true calories burned. It also can track your activity on multiple levels so you can see, analyze, and improve your progress in the gym.
The wearable will also be waterproof 50-100 meters (30 minutes), which is one of the first devices with a waterproof micro-USB connection.
