Remember when Radar detectors were important in driving, and how police banned them, and we started fitting cars with bras? Yeah. Those days have changed.
Cobra has been in the radar detector business from the start. Their line of detectors were always the ones to have in your car. Now, Cobra has the iRadar – an app for iPhone, and iRadar – an app for Andorid. This is a CES Innovation award winner.
iRadar connects to your smartphone, and alerts on your phone. It will also alert others via their cloud service. When someone gets pulled over, you will get an alert on your phone to slow down. The app is free, so you can download it if you don’t have a radar in your car.
The detectors are available now for around $130 at most retailers or at cobra.com and cobrairadar.com
