Corning Puts Tough Glass on Smartphone, Tablet

Corning puts their “Gorilla Glass” on these devices. That is what is used on Samsung, LG and other devices. From phone to TV – the Gorilla Glass will withstand above average wear and tear.
Not only shatter-resistant, but also scratch resistant. They have a group of people in a room that try to break the glass. How fun a job is that?
Since Corning is 50% owned by Samsung, it’s safe to say their surfaces are Corning.
