Femto Forum

Andy Germano of Femto Forum joins Andy and Tom on the TPN Live CES coverage. Femto Forum is a non-profit organization comprised of mobile operators, telecoms hardware and software vendors, content providers and innovative start-ups. The idea is to advance consistency of carrier signals.

Femto creates replication. You connect to your internet in hopes to boost signals on 2G/3G/4G devices. So when 100 people are around your cell tower, you won’t feel the strain.

Some companies are selling Femto devices for under $100.
