Hauppauge Introduces Colossus HD H.264 Video Recorder PCI Express

Ken Plotkin of Hauppauge came onto the TPN Live CES coverage. He talked to Todd about the new Hauppauge Colossus – a HD capture card.

If you want to get video from your PS3 or cable box, this is the card to get. The Colossus HD Video Recorder retails for $169 dollars, available in the first week in February 2011. According to Plotkin, the Colossus is the only recorder solution available that can record high definition video from component video outputs.
