ModernShift Helps You Through Divorce – Disrupt 2014

The divorce rate is 2.4 million in the US alone. That is 4.4 million Americans that need help with not only figuring out their next move, but also need help trying to make an amicable split. Startup Modern Shift is looking to help people un-Fxck the problem.
The companies’ website doesn’t say much about them, but the company is about creating a community around those getting a divorce. From changing the names back to helping with custody issues, the website is a marketplace to help bring civility to the process.
Founder Kyle Canepa is the founder of Modern Shift. She founded the business after her life was turned upside down. Therefore, in May 2013, she bootstrapped the company.
