RCA TV Running Android OS
RCA unveiled a TV with Android in the set. Not Google, but Android. It’s a 42″ TV with full HD capability. Android 2.2 is running on the device and the best part is it’s an open system – anyone that wants to write applications for it can.
While it’s an open idea system, the real question is if it’s something that will confuse the mainstream consumer. Do they need the confines of a GoogleTV?
No price on this one and it’s expected to come out Fall of 2011.
