Samsung Nexus S Gingerbread (Android 2.3) OS
Samsung showed off the Nexus S Gingerbread (2.3) version. It is the predecessor for the Nexus 1. It contains 16 GB of internal memory and uses an AMOLED screen, so 3D graphics look great.
Nexus S features Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. This allows people to point the camera at an item with NFC stickers and get information to their phone.
The phone has a 1GHz Hummingbird processor. Cameras include a 5 MP and a VGA front face.
The GSM model is available in the US at Best Buy only for $520 unlocked.
