Snapstick Brings Video from Phone to TV with Flick of a Wrist
Balaji Krishnan joins Jeff and Esby on the TPN Live CES coverage. He created Snapstick – an application that lets you go from mobile device to TV with the flick of the wrist.
The process is straightforward – you call up the media on your mobile device – Smartphone, Tablet or whatever. Once you find the video you want to watch, just flick it and it shows up on the TV. You don’t even need to be in front of the TV. You can “throw” the media to your TV device.
Movies, pictures, audio. It will take them all and throw to your devices.
Snapstick is in Beta right now. It should be out by Q2 with partners like D-Link, who are adding the software to their devices.
