Upgrade your Telo with a DECT 6.0 with CAT IQ and PureVoice from Ooma – CES 2010
Like I said before, every year we talk with Ooma. This year, we talked with them twice. While the first video is very informative, this one seems to push things a little further.
CAT-IQ is the new term for DECT adding a data channel to the DECT 6.0 protocol. The base station can then stream real time answering machine screening to the CAT-IQ handset. Also, if you set down your cell phone by the Telo and have the Bluetooth connected, any call from the phone will automatically forward to your Land Line.
Ooma extends the home phone to Google voice. You can pair the two the same as you would a cell phone. You can also screen calls and use the Google Voice number to call back.
