What are DECT phones? In a nutshell, it’s a  cordless phone. DECT phones are perfect for a wide wireless range around the home – The range of the handset will depend on the phone itself, but we are talking 400 ft at least. You can also use DECT phones like walkie-talkies.

The folks at Motorola show us the HS1001 – a cordless that is also a web browser. That way you don’t have to pull out your laptop and find out who is starring in your new favorite movie.  Andy McCaskey talks with Motorola to find out more about DECT and the HS1001.
