Yale Locks show InTouch Locks that speaks Z-wave
Peter Williams joined Todd at the TPN Live CES coverage. Peter is from Yale Locks. It’s their first year at CES and they are showing Smart locks.
Running off 4- AA batteries, the touchscreen is incorporated to open deadbolts. Not only will it unlock the door, you will get notification as to when and what is unlocked. Each person can have their own code.
With integration of Z-Wave, you can get these locks integrated into a security system. Being Z-Wave compliant means you can get a better hold on who is coming and going. Also, if something is not right, you can get notified and video can be recorded.
