New Features in Adobe Premiere Pro

Podcast: EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSSWhile at NAB, I got to hang with Durin Gleaves, Product Manager at Adobe. We talked about Adobe Audition, and it’s features, then moved on to Permiere Pro to find out updates on this platform. I moved to Premiere last year due to the cross-platform work I do in editing videos. Being able to use the same program on Mac and PC is a definitely advantage. Updates on Premiere Pro Adobe has introduced many new features in color, sound, and monitoring your edits. For color, many creators are using different brand cameras, which have their own color pallette, and can look mis-matched when putting together. The new side-by-side view allows you to look at two different scenes for correction. Color match feature lets you take color and light values from the reference scene to try and match up color. New in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017

Podcast: EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSSAl Mooney sat down with me at NAB 2017 to let me know all the cool new features that Premiere Pro contains. Lots of cool beta programs that you can start to use right away. Just like the Character Animator, which programs such as the Late Show with Stephen Colbert started using right away. This is part of an “Instant on” option: when something gets announced, you can start using it by updating the program. This is true for all Adobe Creative Cloud programs. As for Premiere Pro, it’s more than just editing. Color, audio, and motion graphics have been the main focus. For color, Adobe added a lumetri color panel. Audio also has a panel that gives you a essential sound panel – a visual screen to help clean up sound points. An auto-match loudness will normalize all sound clips. Easier...

Wirecast 7.6 Adds NDI Support, Allows Adobe Character Animator

Podcast: EmbedSubscribe: Apple Podcasts | Android | RSSA long time user of Telestream Wirecast, I was really happy to spend some time in their booth at NAB to learn about 7.6. Since the release of Wirecast 7, they have stepped up the game with cool features that really compete in the live streaming space. And now with incorporating NewTek’s open architecture Netrwork Device Interface (NDI), Wirecast can go in a lot of cool directions. For starters, Wirecast can bring in Adobe Character Animator into a scene. The program allows you to make a 3D character, then use facial recognition to give the animation life. Just like with what Stephen Colbert does with Cartoon Donald Trump. Down the road you will be able to bring an NDI connected camera into a scene. You could have your team live in different parts of the world, and work the Titler Live from...
