A Podcast is simply a Radio show produced for the Internet. Podcasters will also create video
with their shows. Podcast is a touchy word – some feel it doesn’t really encompass the job, others believe it was turned a bad word by Apple. There are many great podcasts out there.
Geekazine Fact on Podcast
Jeffrey Powers‘ first podcast was not in technology. He produced the Independent Music Podcast for 1 year
before switching to Geekazine.
A couple weeks ago I was interviewed by Rich Albertoni for the Isthmus. It was for the article: Plugged In: In music and spoken word, local culture is embracing the podcast era. The article came out today in the Isthmus – which is a tabliod style magazine that comes out weekly in the Madison area. […]

Geekazine has been working with different vendors since inception in 2007. With Podcasts being part of the Techpodcast network, the video had a uncertainty to it. This last weekend was a roller coaster of a ride. Last week we saw some issues with the site when I cleaned up the system. For some reason, the mySQL was going off the charts. Therefore the Service Provider decided to counter by putting the whole site into a 403 error. Both Geekazine and Dorkazine […]
