Zune is Microsoft’s answer to Apple iTunes and the iPod. Zune is a music player. It was released in 2006. The HD version was released in 2009. The Zune Player Software is available for your PC. The Zune player was discontinued in 2011, but could possibly show up on Windows Phone 7, XBox 360 and other devices (not yet, though).
Fact – Remember the Zune Guy? He got a tattoo of the Zune Logo because he loved the device. However, after noticing Microsoft was not doing anything with Zune, got upset and had the tattoo removed.
