Canon 80D Camera with headphone jack
Canon EOS cameras are great for not only capturing quality photos, but also for creating video for your YouTube channel, or other video projects. At NAB, I got to see one of the latest versions – the Canon 80d Camera.
With a wide-area, 45-point, all cross-type AF system, this camera will work in lower light with a luminance performance to EV-3. The camera has a 24.2 Megapixels CMOS sensor to create high-resolution images.
The 80D camera will also work well as a video camera. Fast autofocus, built-in Wi-Fi, NFC, and 1080p 60fps MP4 video will allow for great video shots.
The base unit comes with an EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 Stabilized USM lens. An optional Røde microphone can be added for capturing video.
But the 80D also includes something videographers have been asking for – a headphone jack to monitor audio capture.
Canon also released the T7i for a low-cost alternative to the 80D. No headphone jack, but it is a great introductory camera for the Vlogger or video press blogger.
