Amazon Smart Soap Dispenser

Amazon has released a smart soap dispenser that allows you a touchless device that helps you wash your hands. We unbox and set it up for everyday use.
About the Amazon Smart Soap Dispenser
Keep in mind: This is NOT an Amazon Echo. It does pair with an Echo (just like with the Amazon wall clock).
The Amazon smart soap dispenser is a 2.4 GHz WiFi connected device that pairs with an Amazon Echo Gen 3 or 4. The dispenser has a sensor to determine if a hand is underneath to dispense the soap.
This cordless dispenser can hold 12 oz of soap. The battery can stay charged for up to 3 months (depending on usage), and can be recharged using the included USB cable.
Using Routines
In the Amazon App, you can setup different routines while you are washing your hands to meet minimum requirements for cleanliness. This can be through playing a song, learning a fun new fact, or many other options to choose from.
Since this is not an Echo, there is no speaker on the soap dispenser. Therefore, you will have to have an Echo close by for audio.
Routines are not necessary to use the dispenser. The unit does have a 20 second LED timer on the top, to count down your wash cycle without a routine.
Dispensing Amount
The sensor will dispense soap depending on how far away your hand is. Put your hand up close for a smaller amount of soap, and further away for more.
Price
The Amazon Smart Soap Dispenser is available for $35 MSRP. Get the soap dispenser here
