While out at 4G World, we ran into the guys at Bug Labs. They are gearing up for Bug Labs 2.0, but more important, the 4G module they are working on with AT&T.
Bug Labs is a modular device for developers and those that want to have more from a mobile device. Interchange cameras, screens, keyboards, touchpads or just make your own device. Android will be soon available on the device, too.
We talk with Mike from Bug Labs about the great modules and how to develop for the device using the Von Hippel module. The device was increased to 600 MHz and a streamlined display. We go through the list of modules and Mike shows us the FCC/CE certified products from GPS to 3 MP cameras.
