Create a MultiCam Studio with EMeet StreamCam One
Last Updated on April 1, 2024 10:21 am by Jeffrey Powers
I first saw EMeet at CES 2022, and was fairly impressed with their conference and streaming lineup. For those who are looking for a smaller solution to start their podcasts, livestreams, or family videos.
The StreamCam One was still in prototype phase at the time. But the offer to be an alternate solution to a MEVO multicam or the OBSBOT 3 cam streaming, I was interested.
What is StreamCam One
With Full HD 1080p resolution and a 110-degree field of view, the SteamCam One is a simple solution for recording music, presentations, and more. A 1/2.8″ sensor, with built in microphone, you can set it up, hit record (or stream), and tear down fairly quick.
The camera also offers onboard recording with a micro SD card, 3.5 mm audio for external audio input, and a USB-C plug to connect to a computer. A built-in battery allows for 8-10 hours of streaming, recording, or both. The USB-C cable is also ready to charge the device.
Wireless Audio Included
If you don’t have an external audio source, the StreamCam One does come with a single 2.4 GHz wireless microphone that magnetically attaches to the top. Once you pair the microphone with the camera, you can place it within 100m of the device to capture an event.
Control through the EMeet App
iOS, Android, and PC versions of the EMeet app are available to connect your StreamCam One. The app can zoom and AI functionality to the shot.
Bring in a graphic, PowerPoint presentation, or lower 3rd to add more options to your camera. Video and Audio editing options also are available for your camera.
Stream Up to 4 Locations
With the app, you can send out your video to YouTube, Facebook, or many other social networks (including RTMP) for your event. You can stream up to 4 different locations (bandwidth permitting).
Connect More StreamCam One Cameras for a Multi-cam Experience
If you have 2-3 cameras, you can easily connect them to the app to switch back and forth. When I do a production, I have 3 cameras pointed to get product shots, or one-on-one interviews.
One of the key advantages of the EMeet StreamCam One is its seamless compatibility with a wide range of platforms and applications. Whether you prefer Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, or any other video conferencing software, this camera works effortlessly with all major platforms, ensuring a hassle-free setup process. Simply plug it in, and you’re ready to go – no complicated configurations or software installations required.
You can use the overlay option to bring in a picture in picture, and the AI ability for the main camera to move with you throughout the 110 degree view area.
Price and Availability
The EMeet StreamCam One is available now starting at $249.99
