Showcase PC with Holograms Inside and Out
I’ve seen modded PC cases with lights, submerged in water, look like part of the environment, and more. But holograms – this was a first for me. Showcase PC’s wants to give you an affordable gamer’s pc case with a holographic twist.
The technology is straightforward. A blade system spins at high rotation. On the blades are LED lights that precisely turn on and off (or change color) as the blade spins. The end result is an image that looks like it’s jumping out at you.
Showcase PC’s puts that technology in the case. You can customize the image with photos or video.
Showcase PC’s 4D Gaming Cases
Their newest PC case brings in a 2-part holographic system where one blade projects inside the case, and one outside. They work in tandem so you can have graphics move from one source to the other.
A moon can hover over the top. A whale can swim in your case, then jump out from time to time. A UFO could hover above the case, then land inside. Many different options creating fun scenes with your computer.
Only issue (as you can see in the video) is the framerate can break up the video effect. What works well for the naked eye might not translate in a YouTube video.
The 4D case will be out soon starting at $399. A 3D inside case starts at $299. There are also self-install kits if you own a case already. Find out more at ShowcasePC.com
