Tablo TV Turns Antenna TV Into an App
Last Updated on January 28, 2024 11:24 am by Jeffrey Powers
When I got my VIZIO TV, it came without a tuner. That was OK, because I could connect to the Internet. But now I want to get local channels to watch some TV shows.
That is where Tablo comes in. I saw them at CES 2024 and they showed me how I can get local channels on any device in my house.
What is Tablo TV?

This is a OTT box that connects to your home router. It allows you to connect a digital antenna, then wire your whole home for over the air TV.
The Tablo TV app allows you to connect via phone or Smart TV to the tuner and watch your shows. With 50 hours recording time, you can also set to record shows or series.
Tablo TV Quad DVR Tuner
The Tablo QUAD DVR is designed to record and stream up to four broadcast channels from their over-the-air HDTV antenna simultaneously. You can also add a SSD to increase storage, then choose to record to onboard SSD or USB. This could give you thousands of hours of recording time.
Tablo Interface
The app scans for all your local channels, then works with over-the-internet channels to expand your offering of shows, sports, and movies.
Price and Availability
The Tablo unit starts at $79 is available now. Get the 2-TV tuner here
