Munchpak: Taste Delicious Snacks from Countries Around the World
Last Updated on May 18, 2020 11:05 am by Jeffrey Powers
One of the coolest things about travel is the ability to taste the cuisine. From restaurants, to how the fast food looks and tastes different from around the world, to even the snacks you can get from the local bodega (because travel always involves late night snack runs).
But if you don’t travel like me, you don’t know some of the cool snacks I try, unless if I talk about it.
I’ve done this before when I was in South Korea. I tried the local Korean Convenience Store Snacks, which included foods I couldn’t come home with. You’d be surprised what works in one country, but others would think that it’s not that appetizing.
So when Munchpak asked if I could try their snacks, I was intrigued. I’ve never tried a monthly subscription pack, so this would be a great way to get into that.
Plus, I’m starved for content (get it? 😉
What is MunchPak
This is a monthly subscription box where you will get up to 20 different snacks from all around the world. Three monthly plans giving you food and drink from countries such as Turkey, Israel, Canada, South Korea, Japan, UK, and more.
Many candies, but also chips, and drink options in the package.
The monthly pack also contains a brochure which talks about some of the snacks you might be getting in your box. This will identify what you will expect in the snack, along with the country this snack is from.
Travel From Your Couch
This is a great way to taste items from the country you might be visiting (or planning to visit). Coming from those countries, there are still a lot of foods to taste when you get to that country.
Because you cannot try fresh Hummus from Israel, certain sushi from Japan, or South Korean BBQ from the grill.
And if you’ve ever been to a country, this is a great way to remember your trip. I am a fan of My Chew (maijju – ?? ?). This was one of the snacks I got in the pack. It takes me back to Gangnam, sailing down the Ham River, taking the train to Seongnam, and walking the streets of Seoul.
Prices start at $11. Subscribe to Munchpak here.
