Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra: 60 Day Self Cleaning Vacuum

Roborock makes a lot of different vacuums, including disc-style robot cleaners. At CES 2022, they introduced the S7 MaxV Ultra – a vacuum you don’t have to touch for 60 days.
About the S7 Robot Vacuum
This vacuum maps out the room using LIDAR, and you can set no-go zones, rooms, and how you want to vacuum or mop a room. The S7 has improved on the cleaning brush so hair won’t wrap around it. And the vacuum can be set from 2500 to 5100 Pa (in Max+ mode) to suck up smaller particles on floors and carpet.
The S7 Dock
The biggest feature of this vacuum is the new dock. Not only will it clean the floating brush and push the dust, dirt and other debris to it’s receptacle, it will also empty, clean, and refill the water tank for mopping use.
When the vacuum is done with a cycle, it will come back to the dock to empty and refill. The tanks can hold up to 60 days worth of debris and water (in their own separate tanks).
All you have to do is empty these receptacles before that 60 day period.

The S7 dock will also recharge the vacuum so you can get back to cleaning the house. The S7 with dock charges 30% faster so larger houses or people that clean more often will not have to worry about waiting.
ReactiveAI 2.0
ReactiveAI 2.0 combines light 3D scanning with Roborock’s neural processing unit for a better machine learning experience. This allows the S7 robot vacuum to react and plan quicker when obstacles are presented.
The end result is the best robot vacuum that is 22% more accurate, and 70% faster in cleaning a room or house.
The S7 does have 3D scanning (through a structured light), an RGB camera, and PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to achieve this. It will help the S7 dodge shoes thrown about, power cords, and other obstacles that are not usually in the way.
Privacy
The Roborock S7 also does not save any images via the camera. This device is TUV Rheinland certified, along with meeting ETSI EN 303 645 cyber security standards.
Connected App with Voice
If your pets chase the vacuum, you can use the app to monitor and send vocal commands through the device. Check in on if the S7 is running and what’s going on around the house.
Pricing and availability
The S7 MaxV Ultra will be around the $1,300 range when it comes out in Q2 of this year. For more information, check out Roborock’s website.
