Roku Streaming Stick, WWE Network at SXSW 2014

I caught up with Roku in their streaming lounge where WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter was going to be there later in the day. The hall was decked out with WWE merchandise and videos of classic matches on each of the Roku machines.
I got to talk with Kristin about Roku’s newest device – the streaming media stick. This is an HDMI stick which allows you to watch your favorite channels without having a box under the TV. The stick is similar to the Roku 1 – no gaming and no headphone jack – but the stick will have Youtube and the ability to cast videos from your mobile device to your Roku. Also, the smaller size connects and only needs a USB or wall jack to power the device.
