Last Updated on February 24, 2024 9:35 am by Jeffrey Powers
The answer – Both Cisco and Apple own the name iPhone. Cisco acquired the name when they bought InfoGear Technology. Apple was granted the trademark in Australia and Singapore. The two companies agreed to ‘Share’ the trademark since this conflict arose. It’s a great example of internet sharing, wouldn’t you say?
Other Tech history was that Popcorn was first introduced to the Pilgrims, the Legend of Zelda is first released, Yahoo stops using Google and Apple.com is registered. Borland, NCR and Computer Shack are some other history items on the Podcast today.
