Viewsonic Monitors for 2023 for Gaming, Video Production and More
I got to see all the new Viewsonic Monitors fo 2023 at CES. We went down the line to check what is available, what is coming, and one prototype monitor.
ELITE XG341C-2K
The XG341C-2K is a 34-inch, mini-LED curved gaming monitor with native UWQHD (3440×1440) resolution. 2000Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time.
AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA DisplayHDR 1400, with PureXP Motion Blue Reduction technology for motion image clarity. Mini-LED with 1152 zone display and full-array local dimming for the ultimate visual performance.
The built-in KVM feature to control multiple devices with a single mouse, keyboard and monitor set-up. Connectivity includes: HDMI v2.1, DisplayPort, USB-C, USB-A/B, and one Audio-Out (3.5mm)
Prototype Viewsonic Monitor
With a new design for high end gaming, this Viewsonic monitor prototype will be available next year. The features we do know in this monitor included 2560×1440 400Hz (highest) IPS, USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort on the back. The stand contains menu buttons for easier access. You can remove the stand for VESA mount, as similar buttons are on the side of the monitor.
Not much more on this, as it is a prototype, and could change before it’s release.
Viewsonic VP16 OLED ColorPro
This monitor is for video professionals on the set. The ColorPro VP16 is a 15.6 1080p monitor with 2 way powered 40W USB-C. The monitor is Pantone validated, and factory calibrated so you can check color of a shoot right out of the box.
The stand can fold flat for portability, or become a kickstand for a vertical stand. 1/4″ mount allows this monitor to also be placed on a tripod with a hood in a bright day. And just like with other portable monitors, you can plug via USB-C or HDMI.
Viewsonic VX16-OLED
This is the consumer 15.6-inch portable monitor with a native 4K(3840×2160) resolution. 100% sRGB, Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 coverage with 400 nits of brightness and 1ms response time.
Just like other portable monitors, it connects 2x USB-C (one for 2-way charging), mini-HDMI and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Ultra-thin OLED panel includes an adjustable kickstand, and button control to turn on, switch monitors, or control settings.
The VX16-OLED will be available by Q4 of 2023
X2-4K Short-Throw LED Projector
The ViewSonic X2-4K is a native 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) with a brightness of 2,900 LED Lumens. The advanced LED technology delivers 30,000 hours of light before a bulb needs to be changed (which at that time, you might be replacing it).
Designed for XBox users that want a big screen gaming experience without taking up a lot of space. This is accomplished with a 0.69-0.83 short throw lens, H/V keystone, and 4 corner adjustment.
The X2-4K will be available Q2 2023 for an estimated street price of $1,599.99* [USD]
