Mutalk Soundproof Microphone, Pebble Feel Haptic Temperature for VR

Ready to immerse yourself in your VR gameplay even more? That is what Shiftall is about. I got to see some great prototypes at CES for your VR use. Mutalk is a noise cancelling bluetooth microphone, whereas Pebble Feel is a tactile haptic temperature device.
Mutalk
This is a Bluetooth microphone that is encased in what looks like a VR headset for your mouth. The idea is simple, and based off the Helmholtz resonator concept – close the area around your mouth to reduce audible noise by -20dB or more.
Once the unit is strapped on, you can put on the VR headset and headphones, then get immersed in the content without disrupting others in a room. Games will be quieter, and you can converse with others in the game or room for VR socializing.
Mutalk is still in Prototype. Check out Mutalk website.
Pebble Feel
Pebble Feel is a device that will simulate hot or cold in your VR game. If you are skiing the alps, for example, Pebble Feel will drop to 9°C(48°F). If you are in the Sahara, Pebble Feel will raise the temperature to 42°C(l07°F).
The version we saw at CES attaches to the back of your neck, but other designs show a vest where the unit attaches right under the shoulder blades. This will give you a haptic temperature feel during your game.
With the unit on the back of the neck, the player may get a more noticeable change, since it’s directly on the skin. The user also has the ability to set the limits of hot and cold extremes, although it will not go past the 9 degree/42 degree temperatures for safety reasons.
