Geekazine in Korea for MIK 2019
I am back in Seoul, South Korea as a guest for Aving.net for the 11th annual MIK 2019 – a Korean startup competition.
I will be joined along UberGizmo (US), Yesky (China), Le Cafe du Geek (France), Monsieur GRrr (France), and Vietnamplus (Vietnam) as the global partners.
I will be talking with companies, while judging on their ability to be marketable – especially globally, if it competes price-wise, and other factors.
The focus for this event is the use of YouTube in promotion.
During the event, companies will be involved in press-pitches, crowdfunding consultation, YouTube consultation (hey, can I get in on that?), distribution strategies, and more.
The top 3 companies will be given the chance to participate in CES 2020 in Las Vegas, NV, along with prize money, and help getting their product to market.
Last year, I selected Pivo for my top company. Pivo is a smart mount. I got to see Pivo again at CES 2019.
This event, I am expecting to see a lot of great companies, and plan to follow my winner on Geekazine, like I do with Pivo.
