Intellias to Unveil New Automobile Digital Cockpit Technology at CES 2024
Intellias, a leading automotive software provider, is set to unveil a groundbreaking digital cockpit for your next car. The cockpit technology, working with Rightware’s Kanzi One technology, promises to revolutionize the way we drive with:
- A customizable digital instrument cluster: Drivers will be able to personalize their display
- An advanced head-up display (HUD): Turn-by-turn navigation instructions and lane departure warnings, within the windshield
- A centralized infotainment system: From audio to air, the controls are easier to get to when needed
- Biometric authentication: Facial recognition and other biometrics will be implemented to not only personalize the driving experience, but implement security

The new digital automotive cockpit technology from Intellias is a great glimpse into the future of how we drive. You might think of cars being autonomous drones, driving in patterns, but this will also give you the options to break away from that and drive on your own.
Adding in Rightware Kanzi One, along with Qualcomm’s fourth-generation Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform, will enable faster, easier prototyping of digital screens. It also speeds up user-interface development processes by linking and creating new interaction logic between different components.
“Harnessing the power of Rightware’s Kanzi One HMI tools not only showcases our proficiency in orchestrating a diverse ecosystem of software and hardware partners, but also allows us to revolutionize the way we develop and integrate software,” said Intellias Technology Director Adam Konopa. “With Intellikit empowered by Kanzi One we’re able to simplify and accelerate the prototyping of digital screens, forging a path to the development of more intelligent and dynamic digital instrument panels.”
We’ve seen many cockpit redesigns ever since LCD touchscreens have been introduced in auto technology. I even highlighted a few at CES 2019. This will be interesting to see how Intellias imagines the display of the future.
