The smart labels for Black Beer have AR facial recognition and can even respond appropriately to your emotions. The label features a skull, which becomes animated and starts a conversation through the screen of your smartphone. This is a great trick to sell more beer, that’s for sure.
This project is all about user experience. The NFC label on the bottle’s neck is a proof-of-purchase as well as a customized tool for communicating with beer drinkers. The technology knows when the beer has been opened and delivers a different message to users who are ready to enjoy said beer.
