JudgeSocial: Get Legal Help through Community – TechCrunch Disrupt 2011 SF
We need to start by saying this is a place to get help, but for full legal advise, consult a lawyer.
With that said, let’s say you need help on a legal issue. You need to find precedence, or you want to put a class-action lawsuit together and looking for similar people. That is where JudgeSocial comes in.
Jeffrey Powers talks with Dave at JudgeSocial.com:
Today as an individual, you might go to Better Business Bureau and on a one-on-one basis, you may get a resolution. BBB only resolved 60,000 complaints last year – that is one for every 5,000 people in the US. We get everyone who has a similar problem, band them together, find out the best resolution is. If we can’t get the best resolution, we use social media to pressure the company in order to address the problem.
This community is a mixture of regular consumers. But if traditional means don’t work, they will help get the attention to the company. If that doesn’t work, then they will work with attorneys to get the problem solved.
