UPnP Forum: Universal Plug and Play Setting Standards – CES 2012

uPNP’s Alan Messier joined the CES TPN Live coverage to talk about how they are standardizing newer technology. Things like adding your refrigerator and your TV. uPNP also worked with DLNA, broadband forum, and more.
The mission of the Universal Plug and Play Forum is to make sure you can connect seamlessly. For instance, your smart phone most likely has uPNP inside. WiFi protected setup, AV sharing, open ports for programs like Skype, TV control (remote control), all use the uPNP standard.
