InTouch Health: RP 7 Mobile Robot – CES 2012
Last Updated on February 23, 2024 11:26 am by Jeffrey Powers
IT Health company InTouch Health along with Verizon showed off RP Express – a mobile device for an individual to carry in the field. With the RP 7 Mobile Robot, they can do tasks the doctor directs.
Both devices allow you to plug in medical instruments including EKGs, Ultrasound equipment and other devices directly into the machine allowing doctors to take and read vital signs from anywhere in the world. The video and audio are in real time and work over the Verizon 4G network, or wifi.
FDA approved, and Wifi accepted (4G approval in the future), there is a possiblity a doctor can go on vacation, and still tend to their patients.
